South Jersey producers of small batch craft beers distributed to bars, restaurants and liquor stores throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Keep an eye out for us on tap and in cans!
Brotherton started as the dream of five lifelong friends to someday open a craft brewery. To push the boundaries of craft beer style and flavor and to create some of the best tasting and most exciting beers for everyone to enjoy. Many years of planning, paperwork, construction and just plain jumping through hoops, that dream is now a reality.
Welcome to Brotherton Brewing Company.
On August 29, 1758, European colonists established the first Indian reservation in what would be the United States, in Shamong Township, New Jersey. The 3,000-acre reservation was created for the local Lenape (sometimes called Delaware) community and called the Brotherton reservation.
Brotherton Brewing Company was established in 2015, owning property and establishing their first production facility on this very same land. The production facility was quickly outfitted with a 15bbl brewhouse, (6) 15bbl fermenters, and a 15bbl brite tank. Brotherton partnered with Hunterdon Brewing Company and began production for distribution in June of 2016 with (3) core styles, being Brotherton IPA, Jersey Devil DIPA, and Green Earth Pale Ale. Since that time, we have expanded our portfolio to 60 plus styles, have been successful in touching over 500 individual locations throughout NJ and PA, and opened our current Production/Tap Room facility in Atco, NJ.
